Blackberry Bold 9700

So I finally got rid of my Sony Ericsson Satio, the buggy annoyance they call a phone. I can only say bad for everything to do with that phone except for the camera.

Anyway, I have now replaced it with a Blackberry Bold 9700. Possibly the best phone I have ever owned. It may not have the app-base like that of the iPhone, but its functionality alone is enough to keep me drooling. The seamless integration with EVERY thing I use, from Facebook, to Windows Live Messenger, to Email, to Twitter... and more.

Notifications delivered direct to your home screen, with no loading or anything.

The Blackberry Messenger Service is an amazing add in, and although I have only 4 people on my contacts, it's great to just be a message away. No logging in or opening an application.

The only problem I had was some websites would have an error upon loading and so I could not use them, but all I needed to do was delete a service book or two and have them re-sent to me, sorted.

I haven't had a single crash, bug or error. The phone is just amazing!!

eBay Surcharges

I got to say, I am pretty miffed at the charges eBay apply to what money you earn on items you sell.

I recently sold my old iPhone 3G 8Gb on there and it went for £200.00. Paypal took 5% and eBay got their dirty money-grabbing hands on 10% of my earnings. £30 of my £200 was taken as fees.

And they think this is okay?

Product Placement

Is it just me or are programs easier to relate to now that Product Placement is allowed?

Sure, it's not much difference made, but when a character is on about "going to play rockband" or "loving Hagen-Daaz", you feel sucked into the story more.

You feel as though the characters are real and it's more than a program you are watching.

What are your thoughts on the lifting of the Product Placement ban?

Coventry

Possibly a rare shot this, its taken while standing on the railway bridge.

It was taken quickly, as work was due therefore I could not spend time getting the perfect image, but I am quite happy with this result.

I don't know if this image shows the limitations of my Satio, or if it's just because I snapped it quickly, either way the focus is out on subjects further away (such as the Morissons Supermarket on the left.)

Tamworth Castle

Tamworth castle, taken on the 5th of February 2010.

It was originally taken for my Girlfriend's mom, but seeing as it is quite a nice photo (excluding the danger of death sign), I figured maybe the internet would like to see it.

Goodbye Wordpress.

Evening to all,

I come in search of refuge from the evils of Wordpress.

It's nice on the outside, but underneath the sleek and smooth exterior lies what can only be described as a Spam-Magnet.

It could have been my fault, I could have added more plugins to block Spam, but I felt Spam Karma was enough.

Lets hope Blogger can offer me the blogging I need, without the spam I don't want.
